WINNEMUCCA - It's that time of the year at Lowry - Winterfest! Leadership has been brainstorming for weeks to make sure you have a crazy-fun time. The festivities will revolve around a holiday theme and the motto, "They Won't Have Time to Celebrate While Watching Lowry Dominate."
Each dress-up day will be based on its own holiday, and each class will be assigned a holiday to decorate their hallway. Plan on attending the pep assembly on Monday, when the royalty will be introduced, and again on Friday, to watch the outrageous games we've masterminded. Along with Karaoke and Bingo Nights, we'll launch a new event, a scavenger hunt!
Do you demonstrate outstanding character, leadership, service and a good attitude? We need you as an officer! There are five student body officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and historian. You must currently be a junior to run for president or vice president and a junior or sophomore to run for secretary, treasurer or historian.
Each of the four classes also have officers. They are president, vice president and secretary/treasurer. Winning candidates will be determined by points awarded from written applications, teacher evaluations, personal interview and a school election.
