Planning Commission to meet on Thursday

WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County Regional Planning Commission will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the courthouse meeting room.

The meeting begins with the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, roll call, public commentary, the review, correction and possible approval of minutes from the Dec. 8 meeting and requests for postponement of agenda items.

Consent agenda items include PW-11-38. This is a parcel map application submitted by Steve Vicks for Vicks Investment, LLC to divide property located at 830 Fairgrounds Road into four lots; assessor's parcel #016-272-36.

There are four items scheduled for public hearing:

• UW-11-09 is a Special Use Permit application submitted by Dennis Dockter, to allow an apartment over a garage in the N-C (Neighborhood Commercial) District. The subject property is located at 936 Melarkey St.; assessor's parcel #'s 016-052-02.

• SP-11-02 is a Site Plan Review application submitted by Desert Mountain Surveying as the agent for T.G. and M. Elaine Sheppard to construct 13 duplexes and one single family dwelling on 3.3 acres of land. The subject property is located on East Fourth Street; assessor's parcel #'s 015-225-15, 015-225-16 & 015-225-18.

• RH-11-02 is a rezone application submitted by Robert & Tammie Quilici to change the zoning from RR-13 MH (Rural Ranchette-13,000 sf minimum lot size with a Mobile Home Overlay) to R-3 (Multiple-Family Residential) on property located at 4205 & 4205½ Center St.; assessor's parcel #'s 010-361-20 & 010-361-29.

• SN-11-09 is an official decision on clarification of Eden Valley Road (from Morrison to the Humboldt River Bridge) to the east and Stanford Street (from Morrison to Sibbald Avenue) to the west as adopted by the Humboldt County Commissioners in October 1996 through Resolution #10-21-96

The commission will also confirm the Master Plan review for the Golconda/Valmy area scheduled for Jan. 26 and tentatively set the schedule for future Master Plan review meetings.
