WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt Regional Planning Commission will meet Thursday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m.
The agenda includes a request from Jan Schade for a street rename. Board members will consider two subsequent parcel map applications for property located off Nancy Street.
The public hearing portion of the agenda has a conditional use permit application to allow a concrete batch plant, rockery and storage at 4680 Etchart lane.
A special use permit application requests that an insurance office be allowed at 810 Bridge St. A conditional use permit requests a church for Christ Life Family Ministries be located at 4405 W. Thomas Canyon Road.
A zone change is requested from single family residential (6,000 square foot minimum lot size) to general commercial at 670 W. Sixth St. and 560 Hanson St. Another zone change requests taking property at 3050 Sunny Drive from 13,000 square foot minimum lot size with a mobile home overlay to multi-family residential. Another request is to change zoning on city of Winnemucca property at 1078 E. Winnemucca Blvd. from general commercial to public facility.
The last zone change request is to take property at 4285 Rainbow Road from 2.5 acre minimum lot size to 1.25 minimum lot size.
Planning commissioners will review the master plan document with comments from Humboldt County commissioners and Winnemucca City Council members, followed by public comment.
