A Pizza Hut employee fought off an armed man's attempts to rob the restaurant Sunday night. At about 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 23, a man entered the pizza restaurant, armed with a shotgun and demanded money.
An employee struggled with the suspect for the weapon, and while no shots were fired, the employee received minor injuries. Other employees intervened and helped overpower the robber. The suspect left the restaurant before police arrived.
No customers were in the restaurant at the time of the attempted robbery, and no money was taken.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 20s to mid 30s,with brown hair. He is very thin, about six feet tall and was wearing a black sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had white lettering on the left chest area. The man was also wearing a black beanie, blue jeans and black boots.
