WINNEMUCCA - Gail Piquet shot a score of 69 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Candace Puls was second in the first flight at 64 and Lynda Walton (61) was third.
Rene Vesco led the way in the second flight with a score of 65, and Karen Aldrich and Roberta Rothwell were second and third, respectively, at 63 and 49.
Kris Crawford shot a 46 for first in the third flight, while Lori Warnert was second with a 45 and Kay Billingsley was third at 40.
Aldrich and Puls had the fewest putts with 28 each, and Carole Doughty, Anne Kelly, Vesco and Rothwell had chip-ins.
Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 17 feet, 10 inches, and Piquet was closest on No. 5 at 6-6.
