WINNEMUCCA - Gail Piquet shot a low gross score of 90 to lead the first flight of the Club Championship for the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Chompoo Landt was first in the net division in the first flight at 74 and Ellen Aker (77) was second.
Karen Aldrich leads the way in the gross division in the second flight with a 110, while Linda Dufurrena is first in the net division at 76. Della Domingo is second at 77.
Jean Mentaberry shot a 114 for first in the third flight, while Kay Billingsley was first in the net division with a 79.
Piquet had the fewest putts with 25 and Rene Vesco and Terri Kracaw each had a chip-in. Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 10 feet, 9 inches and Kracaw was closest on No. 5 at 14-4.
