Philip Bennett Sherbondy, 84, of Winnemucca passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on September 12, 2012. He was born on December 6, 1927 in Turkeytown, Pennsylvania to Lloyd and Bertha Sherbondy.
Philip served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked in the steel mills as a truck driver and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed all sports and his hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Sherbondy; his children Joel Sherbondy, Tessa Sherbondy, Philip Sherbondy, William Sherbondy, Gail Sherbondy and Ramona Sherbondy; grandchildren Dewayne Sherbondy, Kristopher Sherbondy, Sadeler Sherbondy, William Sherbondy, James Sherbondy and Tiffany Sherbondy.
