CHRISTMAS TRAP SHOOT
The Flying Saucer Trap Club will be holding its annual "Christmas Shoot" on Saturday, Dec. 20, at the trapshooting range located at 1550 Airport Rd. Lovelock. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the shoot will start at 10 a.m.
Everyone is invited; shooting squads will be selected according to shooter's experience or bring your own squad of five shooters for some fun competition between friends. Twelve- and 20-gauge shells are available for purchase at the club. Come early, and stay late and win a ham for your holiday feast.
LOVELOCK LOOT
Pershing County Chamber of Commerce Manager Wendy Nelsen asks residents to use any outstanding Lovelock Loot by the end of January. The coupons are accepted in lieu of cash at most local businesses.
"We are discontinuing it (Lovelock Loot) and redoing a different program," Nelsen said this week.
