LOVELOCK - On Jan. 18, the Pershing County 4-H Club held its first meeting at the local community center.
At the meeting Mary Ann Papa updated the 4-H members on upcoming events. The biggest change is that the local livestock show will be held on May 13, which is two weeks later than last year's show.
After announcements, the club members elected 4-H officers for the upcoming year. The officers are: President Abby Bake, Vice-President Mikayla Renfroe, Secretary Kalynne Mitchell, Reporter Owen Bake and Sergeant-of-Arms Scott Plimpton and Jake Cerini.
The club members are excited for the projects and activities that will happen throughout the year!
