PCHS students display their artwork

You can now vote for People's Choice

LOVELOCK - The Pershing County High School Art Show is on display at the Pershing County Library.

The Best of Show entry was a pen and ink work by Madison Neal, a senior. Another pen and ink by Neal was also chosen by the library staff to receive the Librarian's Choice Award.

The artwork will remain on display until May 3. People viewing the show may vote for their favorite entry. The last day to vote will be April 25. The People's Choice Award will then be awarded.

The art show judges also awarded ribbons in the following categories:

Tempera Painting: First place - Esmeralda Velazques, Madison Neal; Second place - Kaleb Buxton, Mariana Gonzalez, Justin Bliss, Andrew Narito; Third place - Delfina Parades, Savanna Hunt, Dylan Cholico, Savannah Hunt; Honorable mention - Jasmin Chavez, Tiayra Andrus, Aundrea Gonzalez.

Colored Markers: First place - Tiayra Andrus, Melissa Gonzales, Terrell Callao-George; Second place - Taylor Cooper, Desiree Carey; Third place - Abby Bake, Mikayla Reese.

Construction Paper Pictures: First place -Terrell Callao-George; Second place - Abby Bake.
