Lemaire Elementary fourth-grade students recently traveled to the California Interpretative Center for their annual field trip. The response from parents willing to chaperone was outstanding, with 22 stepping up and spending the day with the fourth graders and their teachers. The teachers at Lemaire received the following response e-mail from the Interpretative Center upon their return: "Thank you so much for having your field trip at the California Trail Interpretive Center. Your students were among the best, well-behaved, and most engaged that we have seen at the Trail Center. Bravo to you and the rest of the staff."
