Brady Koseck, 7, of Battle Mountain, won a bike while attending the Tri-County Fair in Winnemucca. Standing next to Koseck is Jim Driscoll, post commander of VFW No. 12116 in Winnemucca. According to Brady's mom, Kayla Love-Koseck, her son didn't actually enter the VFW raffle. The story is that he went to buy a ticket and the raffle for the bike had been held about three hours earlier. Driscoll felt sad for Brady, not because he wanted a bike, but because he just wanted a chance to enter the raffle. So Driscoll made a deal that if Brady's dad Josh donated $5 to the VFW, Brady would have a new bike. Driscoll fixes up new but slightly irregular bikes that are donated. He said he likes to see kids' faces when they hop on their new ride for the first time.[[In-content Ad]]
