WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office will be hosting its first "Open House with the Sheriff" event on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the sheriff's office, which is located in the courthouse at 50 W. 5th St. The sheriff and members of his staff will be available to answer any questions that the public may have, or to address any concerns. The sheriff will also go over the 2011 State of the Sheriff's Report. The open house will run until 7:30 p.m.
These meetings will be held once a quarter to ensure open lines of communication between law enforcement and the community.
