LOVELOCK - Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends all got into the act at the Old Timers Showmanship Contest at the Pershing County livestock show May 12.
The contest consisted of showing goats, which were not shown when the old timers were in 4-H. The contest was judged by Abby Bake, 2013 winner of the Round Robin Contest. It cost $10 to enter someone, one's self or another in the contest. It cost $20 to get out of showing.
Sarah Renfroe won the women's first place dinner for two sponsored by the Cowpoke Cafe. Kevin Machado won the men's first place gift certificate from the Powder House.[[In-content Ad]]
