The office of Dr. Sharon McIntyre, MD is now closed.
Dr. McIntyre resigned her position as a staff physician at Humboldt General Hospital effective Aug. 1, 2014.
Patients of Dr. McIntyre are encouraged to establish care with another provider in Winnemucca in the timeliest manner possible.

Patients of Dr. McIntyre may request a transfer of their medical records to the provider of their choice by contacting Humboldt General Hospital's Medical Records Office at (775) 623-5222, ext. 1805.
However, if the new provider is on staff at Humboldt General Hospital, the medical records do not need to be transferred; instead, they will be available to the new provider at the patient's first visit.

Dr. McIntyre was not available for comment; the explanation given by HGH personnel for her departure was that she had another opportunity and took advantage of it.
