NxLeveL is a 13-week intensive course that delivers the knowledge needed to launch a new business or grow a current and existing business. Through a variety of speakers as well as the instruction of certified trainer Kathy Halbardier, students gained knowledge and best practices in management techniques, goal setting, financial accountability and crafting a business plan.
Because of the success of the inaugural class, the Nevada Small Business Development Center hopes to host a class once per year.
The course was made possible largely in part to a grant received from the Western Nevada Development District, Humboldt General Hospital (who donated the space for the class), the Humboldt Development Authority, the Nevada Small Business Development Center and all the guest speakers throughout the duration of the course.
