NV Energy donates vans to two Winnemucca nonprofit groups

NV Energy donated two used passenger vans from the company's vehicle fleet to the Winnemucca Food Bank and Nevada Outdoor School this past Monday at the Winnemucca NV Energy office.

Both vans are 2006 Ford 350 15-passenger vans that were used to transport NV Energy employees from Winnemucca to the company's North Valmy Generating Station.

Karen Ross and Bob Rice of NV Energy presented the keys to the vehicles to representatives from the Winnemucca Food Bank and Nevada Outdoor School. Karl Walquist and Stephanie McCaffrey of NV Ebergy were also hand for the presentation.

NV Energy donates used company vehicles to nonprofit organizations as they become available. The vehicles have been well maintained and are capable of many more miles of light-duty use.[[In-content Ad]]
