Next RPEN meeting Nov. 13 in Battle Mountain

BATTLE MOUNTAIN -The Winnemucca Chapter of the Retired Public Employees of Nevada will hold its monthly meeting in Battle Mountain at the Civic Center at 625 S. Broad St., on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. The RPEN organization is the state organization that supports and advocates for retirees and near-retirees (those currently employed by a PERS agency, 50 years of age or older, with five years of participating in the Public Employees Retirement System - PERS). The RPEN Winnemucca Chapter represents the three-county area - Humboldt, Lander and Pershing - with a goal to educate members and the public about issues related to the pubic employees pensions and benefits.

Members from Winnemucca and Terri Laird of the RPEN state office invite Battle Mountain retired and active public employees to this informative meeting.
