New staff welcomed at Lowry High School

This month in Leadership new staff members were highlighted at Lowry High School.

First, is Greg Scott who teaches computers. He came to Lowry because he wanted the challenge of teaching science in a career center.

Next, is Adam Sorenson who teaches Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. He came to Lowry because he enjoyed his time here as a student and wanted to come back home to teach at LHS.

Next, is Austin Mayo who teaches Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. He came to Lowry because he wanted to come back to his hometown and feel like he was making an impact, just like the teachers and coaches he had as a student did for him.

Also, there is Miranda Santos who teaches English. She chose to teach at LHS because she appreciates the maturity level of high school students as well as the student involvement that most students here at LHS possess.

Also new to LHS this year is Angella Cook who teaches CLS (all classes). She came to Lowry because it seemed like a place that she would really enjoy working at.

Mr. Dunham is also new to Lowry this year, teaching ESL and Special Ed. He came to Lowry because he was looking for a new school and greater challenges.

There is also Brian Myers who is doing his student teaching in English with Santos. He came to Lowry because it's where he wanted to be.

Lastly, is Tim Connors who is our new vice principal. He came to Lowry because he wanted to help make Lowry a better school.[[In-content Ad]]
