Nevada Highway Patrol Battle Mountain Trooper Arthur Aten (left) was officially promoted to sergeant during a ceremony at the Winnemucca NHP office Wednesday afternoon. Aten served as a trooper in Battle Mountain for 14 years and said he is "humbled to have this much responsibility." Lt. Greg Johnson (right) said, "I am looking forward to working with Arthur and bringing some stability to the district."
