Paramedics Tyler Lindsay and Kevin Grannis are members of the rescue staff at the new Humboldt General Hospital EMS station on Jaca Road in McDermitt. The new EMS station is just down the street from the fire station and sheriff's office substation. According to HGH officials, the crew members are normally on a 48-hour rotation at the McDermitt substation with one ambulance on site. The ambulance also has extrication capabilities, which are critical in the event of some motor vehicle accidents.
