WINNEMUCCA - Bealls department store is holding a job fair on Monday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Humboldt County Library, 85 E. Fifth St.
The store is scheduled to open April 18 with a chamber of commerce ribbon cutting at 9 a.m.
Bealls will offer national name brand clothing, accessories, shoes, and cosmetics to the Winnemucca community.
Bealls will hold a grand opening sale in April with values for shoppers to take advantage of, registration for a shopping spree, and the first 100 customers will receive free tote bags.
Throughout the year, the store will offer other seasonal sales to the community. In addition, the store has deal clubs that shoppers can belong to. "Club 50" is available for customers over 50 and provides them with a 20 percent discount on Tuesday. Bealls also offers a military discount of 15 percent off with valid military ID. The store has a private label credit card that shoppers can sign up for as well, company official said.
The store will be located in the space that was previously occupied by Honks One Dollar on Winnemucca Boulevard, which has an area of approximately 13,000 square feet.
