The Winnemucca Events Complex was a busy place this past weekend as the Nevada High School Rodeo Association made its annual stop at the Winnemucca Events Complex, which was hosted by the Humboldt County Rodeo Club. Athletes at the junior high and high school level competed over two days in such events as goat tying, breakaway roping, barrel racing, pole bending, team roping, tie-down roping, bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, chute dogging and ribbon roping. The association is off this weekend and returns to action on May 16-17 in Lincoln County. Winnemucca will be the home for the Nevada Junior High Finals from May 24-26.[[In-content Ad]]
