Neale Eugene Fettic

Neale Eugene Fettic was born to Eugene and Alma Fettic in Genoa, Nev. He attended school in Genoa and upon finishing he worked different jobs in Genoa, Carson City and Reno. He joined the Navy, where he got to see a lot of the world and was trained to become an accomplished mechanic. After four years of service to his Country and being Honorably Discharged he returned to Genoa.

He married Pat Campbell and together they had three children, Bobby, Jody and Jeanne. The family moved to Gardnerville where Neale worked for Sierra Pacific Power Co.

In 1963 Neale loaded up the family and along with Dennis and Jere Heitman and their children, Denny, Lana, and Margie and brother-in-law Jim Campbell they headed to Orovada to live and work the Willow Creek Ranch. It was a wonderful life in Orovada where the home was always full of family and friends.

Neale's wife, Pat passed away in 1970 and he moved to Idaho where he built mobile homes and operated a mobile home park. In 1995 Neale returned to Humboldt County where he could be closer to his kids and grandkids.

Neale was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, wife Pat, sister Bea, brothers, Fred, John, and Frank, sister-in-law Jere, brother-in-law Jim and nephew Otto "Denny". He is survived by his children Bobby and Marlene Fettic, Jody and Jim Copenhaver, and Jeanne Fettic, nieces Lana and Jeff Servatius and Margie and Rob Wonhof, brother-in-law Dennis Heitman. "Grumpy" will be missed by his grandchildren Monica, Mike, Lacy, Todd, Amy, his great-grand kids and Trevor "Junior."

Dad was a kind, gentle, caring man with a great sense of humor. We would like to thank our friends who helped in the last year to make his life better.

A family service for Neale will be held in Genoa, Nev.
