LOVELOCK - Lovelock resident Conrado Andre Flores, 27, was transported to a Reno hospital with injuries after losing control of his motorcycle at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, according to Lovelock Police Chief Michael Mancebo.
The accident occurred in downtown Lovelock when the motorcycle Flores was riding passed a car in the left lane, hit a curb and flipped. Although Flores was wearing a helmet, it was not secured and came off during the accident, Mancebo said.
A Care Flight helicopter flew Flores to Renown Medical Center in Reno where he is being treated in the intensive care unit.
