Barrick Mining Company donated $2,500 to the Winnemucca Motocross Association. This year the Motocross Association determined to step into a gap left by other clubs not hosting the Triple Crown races. Barrick's donation is helping cover the costs associated with the Winnemucca club's decision to host this year's Triple Crown series. The first two races were held over the Labor Day weekend, the third race of the series will be held the weekend of Oct. 10 - 12. "Supporting the community activities and quality of life for our employees outside of work is a key component of Barrick's Community Relations program," said program manager Melanie Lawson.
