The Humboldt County Library Scale Model Club recently competed in the Best of the West competition in Henderson, where several of them received plaques for their model entrants.

The Model Club meets at the Humboldt County Library in the Meeting Room once a month. These meetings are for people interested in learning how to build models, those who need a space to work on their models, and those who want to visit with others interested in model building. The public is welcome to bring whatever type of model they may be interested in working on. Darren Dyk will be available to provide helpful model building tips and tricks for those that are interested. Everyone is welcome; kids under 13 years are welcome with adult supervision.
