A California driver traveling east on West Winnemucca Boulevard near Interstate 80 exit 176 rolled his pickup truck Wednesday afternoon into the median, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Johnny Peoples. Peoples said that the driver fell asleep, hit several paddle markers and a sign post, and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over. The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. and Winnemucca police officers and Humboldt General Hospital EMS also responded to the scene. Peoples said that the driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.[[In-content Ad]]
