WINNEMUCCA - Andy Mendoza shot a 3-over par 75 to win the Doug Maddox Memorial junior golf tournament held last Wednesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Chris Mendoza was second with a 76 and Trevor Stannard was third at 81
Alyssa Dendary carded a 80 to lead the way in the girls 14- to 17-year-old division, and Elise Rose was second with a 109.
In the boys 11- to 13-year-old age group that played nine holes, Dillon Patterson won with a 50 and Zachary Wolverton and Dalton Irons tied for second at 54.
In the girls 11- to 13-year-old division, Tatyana Carlson won with a score of 56 and Lilly Landt was second at 60.
Cal Peters shot a 51 to win the boys 8- to 10-year-old group. Tyler Piquet was second with a 56 and Kole Mattson placed third with a score of 66.
In the girls 8- to 10-year-old division, Megan Li won with a 64 and Tea Novi was second at 66.[[In-content Ad]]
