BATTLE MOUNTAIN - Eleanor Lemaire Elementary School recently announced the winners of the Little Horn of the Month award for May/June. The following are comments about the award winners:
Fourth grade - Esteban Tovar: Esteban comes to our class everyday with a big smile on his face ready to do whatever we are doing. His favorite activity is PE. I think he would like to have Mr. Fuller's job! Thanks to Esteban for his sunny disposition!
Uliana Willingham: Uliana is a perfectionist. She always does her work of the highest degree of neatness and correctness. She sets a standard that all students should aspire to. She is a positive influence on all the other students.
Hailey Vess: Hailey is my quiet worker bee. She is quick to help other students. She sets her own goals high. Her math work is always exceptional. I enjoy having her in class.
Fifth grade - Grace Melver: Grace has a positive attitude every day. She is a fantastic listener and always produces quality work. She gets along with everyone and is continually kind. She also excels in math.
Aubrie Schmidt: Aubrie is one of the most bubbly, animated students in the entire school. She greets each day with a smile, is a positive role model and can cheer anyone up who is feeling down. She is also an awesome student.
Sixth grade - Gabe Naveran: Gabe is always a hard worker. He is diligent and determined to do his best. Gabe is positive and such a great role model for other students. We love Gabe's attitude!
Daniela Rios: Daniela is such a great learner. She always tries at everything she does and is a fantastic reader. Daniela is an outstanding sixth grader!
