March, April trials set for Bidegary

Trial dates have been set for accused sexual assault suspect Seth Kunis-Bidegary. Kunis-Bidegary appeared in the Sixth Judicial Court on Monday, Nov. 17 with his attorney, Justin Bustos of law firm Gordon & Silver, Ltd.

Judge Richard Wagner said that because he would be out of office in early January, judge-elect Jim Shirley would have to set his own trial calendar. At the review hearing, Shirley, Bustos and Deputy District Attorney Kevin Pasquale agreed on trial dates for Kunis-Bidegary in spring of next year.

Kunis-Bidegary faces 12 counts of sexual assault upon a child under 14 at his first trial on March 23, 2015. The trial is set for five days, with a pre-trial hearing on March 2.

Kunis-Bidegary will then go to trial on 18 counts of unlawful to use a minor in the production of pornography on April 13, in another five-day trial.[[In-content Ad]]
