Sean and Sarah Brown of Lovelock are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Makayla, born June 25, 2012, at 8:21 a.m., at Humboldt General Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces. She is the couple's first child. Maternal grandparents are Dora and Kenny Blossom of Reno. Paternal grandparents are Clifton and Jeannie Brown of Winnemucca.
