WINNEMUCCA - While the calendar may say February, the 3A volleyball coaches finally picked the all-state team even though the season ended in November.
Lowry's Betsy Guerrero was named to the honorable mention team as an outside hitter. She was the only Lady Buckaroo named to the team.
Truckee's Annie Reiswig was named the Most Valuable Player after leading the Wolverines to the state championship. Teammates Kiersten Knoppel, Krystal Murphy and Katie Mohun were chosen to the first team. Also named to the first team were South Tahoe's Drew Norberg and Boulder City's Whitney Barlow, Avalon Frantz and Mallory Bird.
Fernley's Jordan King and Brooke Mattice, Alora Bonner (Virgin Valley), Emma Eira (Moapa Valley), Madison Foley (Dayton), Ali Rants (Boulder City) and Page Gustafson (South Tahoe) earned second-team honors.
