WINNEMUCCA - Lowry High School standouts Carli Evatz and Taylor Schwartz have been named to the girls Division I-A all-league basketball teams.
Evatz, a senior, was chosen to the second team, while Schwartz, a junior, garnered honorable mention status.
The first-team, all-league squad included Elko's Anna Dubois, Raelynn Forcella, Spring Creek's Arrayana Edwards and Madi Estes, Fernley's Jordan King, Truckee's Sydnie English and Churchill County's Cady Cordes.
Spring Creek's Holly Miller was named the Coach of the Year.
The second team was spread out between Elko's Erin Nielsen, Churchill County's Ali Tedford, Truckee's Katey Hammell, Sparks' Serima Thompson and Sparks' Krystal Parker.
South Tahoe's Brooke King and Hannah Neiger, Dayton's Maribel Ledesma, Truckee's Olivia Duner, Fernley's Katie Braswell and Churchill County's Shayna Hicks were named to the honorable mention squad.
