WINNEMUCCA - The Lowry High School track and field team had an unexpected weekend off after the cancellation of a league meet in Elko last Saturday due to poor weather.
The Buckaroos have two meets this weekend, starting with the Galena JV Invitational today in Reno. Lowry's varsity squad will take part in the Fallon Elks Invitational on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Lowry has no meet scheduled during spring break. The Bucks will take one team to the Elko Invitational and another to the Fernley Invitational on Saturday, April 9. Both start at 9 a.m.
