Lowry to host girls basketball camp this month

WINNEMUCCA - The Lowry High School girls basketball team will be holding a camp June 17-20 in the main gym at the high school.

The camp is run by Lady Buckaroo first-year varsity head coach Chelsea Cabatbat, veteran coaches on her staff and members of the Lowry girls basketball team.

The camp will focus on fundamentals and learning the characteristics of Lowry High School basketball. Whether or not your daughter has ever played she is bound to have fun in the welcoming atmosphere filled with a balanced mix of fundamentals and fun. The Lowry staff brings a wealth of basketball knowledge, drills and enthusiasm designed to help young players increase their basketball fundamentals and overall knowledge of the game.

Incoming third and fourth graders will go from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at a cost of $40. Incoming fifth and sixth graders will go from noon - 2:30 p.m. at $50, while incoming seventh and eighth graders will go from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. with a cost of $60. The price includes a camp T-shirt.

Checks are payable to Lowry Girls Basketball. Participants can mail the registration form to Chelsea Cabatbat, 3205 Marla Drive., Winnemucca, NV, 89445 or you can drop the form off at Spare Time Bowl.
