DAVE MUNK • Special to the Sun
Selected Lowry High School band students, under the direction of Paul Criddle, participated in the Nevada Small School All-State Band this past week. About 90 students participated from 18 schools across the state. Students were able to rehearse together at the Elko Convention Center Thursday and Friday and performed May 4. The opportunity to perform a variety of excellent music, including a tribute to veterans, and to be instructed and led an enthusiastic and talented conductor made it a good experience for the students.
