The Lowry High School student section was in full force on Saturday afternoon to cheer on the Lowry volleyball team in the semifinals of the Division I-A North Regional Championships in Winnemucca. The Lady Bucks came short in their quest for a trip to the state tournament as Truckee won 20-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-19. Elko defeated Truckee in five sets in the championship and both teams advanced to the state championships this weekend at Galena High School in Reno.
