WINNEMUCCA - There were four students of the month for the month of November, with one from each class. These students have been honored for their hard work at Lowry High School.
The freshman student of the month was Savannah Rorex. Savannah was nominated by Mrs. Grady. Mrs. Grady said that Savannah is an exemplary student who shows a true interest in learning a foreign language.
The sophomore student of the month was Ashley Godinez. Ashley was nominated by Mrs. Rorex for her outstanding work in design.
Mrs. Rorex said that Ashley is enjoyable, works hard, and is very involved in the community. The teacher also said Ashley is a great person who could be a great designer someday.
Jordyn Ward is the junior student of the month, and was nominated by Mr. Wanlass. Wanlass said great things about Jordyn. "She is doing great in my class and is excellent in her other classes," says Wanlass.
She is a member of the dance team, and she is a great example to underclassmen.
Garrett Plumb is the senior class student of the month, and he was nominated by Mrs. Bidart.
She said, "Garrett is a very industrious young man that probably is one of the best library aides I have ever had. He is a bright individual who goes above and beyond his regular library duties."
