Lowry names February students of the month

The freshman February student of the month is Makayla Lopez. Makayla was nominated by Mrs. James. She always represents a positive attitude and sets a positive example. She portrays the quality of leadership and serves as a role model. Mrs. James claims, "Makayla adds much to my life. She is involved in many different aspects of Lowry High School like cheerleading and leadership. She is trustworthy, hard-working and maintains her grades."



The student of the month for the sophomores is Emma Kracaw. She was nominated by Mrs. Scott." When faced with a gap in leadership I gave Emma the task and she has done an excellent job. She is super reliable, highly skilled and always has a great attitude," states Mrs. Scott. Emma serves as a role model to everyone in the school and the community. She portrays a positive attitude and positive example for academic achievement in classroom studies. Emma is a hardworking student who is willing to give her time for a job well done.



The junior February student of the month is Ryan Godinez, nominated by Mrs. Godinez. He sets a positive example for academic achievement in the classroom. Ryan displays a supportive role. Mrs. Godinez claims, " Ryan is hardworking and puts forth a big effort to use his second language.This is his third year of study and he has demonstrated a knack for Spanish. Bien hecho!"



The February student of the month for the seniors is Maria Ramos. Maria was nominated by Mrs. Grady. Maria is always in high spirits as she serves as a role model in Lowry and our community. She sets a excellent example in word, deed and appearance. "Maria is a senior and signed up to be my TA for the second year in a row. She works extremely hard every day and helps me tremendously. I don't know what I would do without her!" shares Mrs. Grady. All February students of the month are well deserved, keep up the nice work!
