Lowry May students of the month announced

Ross is a wonderful young lady who is very conscientious about her studies. If Ross misses Rorex's class, which is very rare, she makes a point to come in after school or at lunch to make up her work.

Ross is a role model to her classmates. She knows when she has to work and is a good judge of class time; balancing fun in class, while still being able to do her work.

Samantha Yates is the junior class student of the month, nominated by Marlene Killion.

Yates is always a very positive and polite person. She is always willing to help with whatever needs to be done in Killion's classroom.

The junior class student of the month is Sammantha LaTray, nominated by Joyce Knight.

LaTray is in Knight's advisory class. For three years, Knight has seen her always willing to cooperate, using advisory time as it is intended, willing to help someone who needs it and willing to ask for help if she needs it.

In addition, LaTray is very mature in how she relates to other people, both students and teachers. She respects others' feelings and has an amazing insight to people. She is a person in whom Knight would put unconditional trust to do the right and honest thing in any circumstance.

Kinzie McClintick is the senior class student of the month, nominated by Corrine James.

It is a rarity when a student receives a 99 percent in an academic course and James says, "Kinzie McClintick is amazing." She works so hard and is never afraid to ask questions that benefit all of the class. McClintick is absolutely one of the sweetest and kindest students that James has ever had.

These four students have shown dedication and hard work in their classes and Lowry High School is proud to have them.
