Lowry High School was the place to be for junior varsity softball action this past weekend as the Lady Bucks played host to a Ruby Mountain/Lahontan League crossover. Schools from Elko, Spring Creek, Dayton, Fernley and Fallon made the trip to Winnemucca for three games apiece.
Lowry played schools from the Lahontan League and lost 15-6 to Churchill County and 11-1 to Fernley on Friday. The Lady Bucks bounced back on Saturday with a 24-0 pounding of Dayton.
Lowry travels to Carson City this weekend for games against Truckee, South Tahoe and Sparks.
