The Lowry High School junior varsity softball and baseball teams have stayed busy with a number of games in the past week. The Lady Bucks swept Churchill County in a doubleheader last Saturday in Winnemucca. Lowry hosted Pershing County on Monday and lost 7-2. The Lady Bucks were back on their home field Tuesday and swept the Battle Mountain JV 13-10 and 17-4. The Lowry baseball team dropped a pair of games to Churchill County last Saturday, but came back to beat Pershing County 7-3 on Monday. The Buckaroos split with Carlin on Tuesday losing 11-4 and winning 17-13. The junior varsity teams had their games with Truckee moved up to Thursday, due to pending bad weather in Lake Tahoe on Saturday.
