Lowry JV girls soccer team beats Fernley, falls to Churchill County

The Lowry High School junior varsity girls soccer team played host to a crossover tournament on Saturday at the high school. A number of schools from northern Nevada made the trip to Winnemucca for two matches apiece. The Lady Bucks lost 1-0 to Churchill County in the morning and came back to beat Fernley 1-0 in the afternoon. Jaris Dunyon had the game-winning goal for Lowry in the Fernley victory. The Lady Bucks travel to Fallon on Saturday to play Truckee at 9 a.m. and North Tahoe at noon.
