Lowry boys to host basketball camp

WINNEMUCCA -The Lowry High School boys basketball team will be holding its camp June 3 - 6 in the main gym at Lowry.

The camp is run by Buckaroo boys head coach Chad Peters, along with players from the team and members of the veteran coaching staff at the high school.

The camp is designed to help young players increase their basketball fundamentals and overall knowledge of the game. Most importantly, the campers will learn how to enjoy the game of basketball in the Lowry tradition.

Incoming third and fourth graders will go from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at a cost of $40. Incoming fifth and sixth graders will go from noon - 2:30 p.m. at $50, while incoming seventh and eighth graders will go from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. with a cost of $60.

Checks are payable to Chad Peters. Participants can mail the registration form to Chad Peters, 777 S. Bridge St., Winnemucca, NV, 89445 or you can drop the form off at Spare Time Bowl.

All proceeds from the camp go to the Lowry boys basketball program and the Nicholas Green Memorial Basketball Scholarship.
