Freshman Bree Lebrun was nominated for student of the month by Marie-Jeanne Dawson.
She is a pleasure to have in the classroom. She takes pride in her work and always has a positive attitude. In addition to being helpful to other students, Dawson can count on Bree to set the example.
Freshman Samantha Neumann Morgan was nominated for student of the month by Julia Topholm.
Samantha is a great example of what it is to be a pleasure in the classroom. She is hardworking, willing to learn, and really just loves art. Sam is willing to put forth 100 percent of the effort and tries any task put in front of her, and usually conquers them. She loves art and it shows in her work ethic.
Sophomore Estafani Barocio was nominated for student of the month by Michelle Pasquale.
She has risen to every challenge asked of her this year. Estafani has put forth great effort to maintain her good grades while being a true leader in class and an excellent role model for her peers. She is well prepared for class each day and contributes to the class discussions and always applies that extra effort to make sure her work is exceptional.
Sophomore Tanner Ames was nominated for student of the month by Corrine James.
Tanner is a great student. His positive attitude and work ethic is what James loves in her class. He gets along so well with his peers. He has great attendance and always wears blue and gold on Fridays. Tanner has already finished the class novel Flowers for Algernon in just a couple of days. Tanner is definitely student of the month quality!
Junior Payton Naveran was nominated by Corrine James.
In the words of James, "Payton is a wonderful addition to stagecraft. She has an artist's eye and has used her many talents to enhance costumes, scenes, lighting, and special effects." Payton has perfect attendance and is a student James can always depend on and trust.
Junior Caitlynn Cooper was nominated for student of the month by Topholm.
Caitlynn is a wonderful and responsible student-athlete. She takes pride in her assignments and is always on top of making up in class what she missed due to her many activities. She is creative and willing to step outside the box and challenge herself.
Senior Michael Wing was nominated for student of the month by Shelby Ruff.
Michael works hard in chemistry and regularly asks questions both in and out of class to try and improve his understanding. His drive to succeed sets a good example for his classmates, in a sometimes discouraging subject.
Senior Oscar Rodriguez was nominated for student of the month by Dawson.
Although Oscar is very quiet, his character speaks volumes. Oscar is a very hard-working student with a gift of writing. He is a focused individual and always gets the job done while being helpful to other students. His positive attitude inspires other students as well.
