The Lovelock Senior Pro Rodeo held last month was a grassroots level operation. Local organizers and volunteers worked tirelessly for months to make ready the rodeo grounds, collect sponsors and organize all aspects of the rodeo. The newly formed MKC Rodeo Committee, JJ Myers, Julie Myers, Jodie Chico and Dewayne Kulbeth, all local Lovelock residents, enlisted the help of numerous local volunteers to make the rodeo a success and keep it coming back year after year.
