A story that appeared in the Sept. 1 - 7 edition of the Lovelock Review-Miner stated that candidates Mark Amodei and Kate Marshall had not stopped in Lovelock or Pershing County during the special election campaign for the District 2 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
However, Pershing County Republican County Chair Carol Shank told the Review-Miner that Amodei has visited Pershing County on numerous occasions and has discussed concerns and issues with residents of Pershing County.
Review-Miner Staff Writer Jill Lufrano said what she meant to convey was that to her knowledge no organized, scheduled town hall meeting inviting all residents of the county to attend had been held.
Janice Rutherford is a clerk in the county treasurer's office. Her title was incorrect in the same story.
Voters can cast ballots on election day at the Grass Valley Community Center and Pershing County Community Center.
