LOVELOCK - Author Anita Fisk, a familiar name in educational circles, is a graduate of Pershing County High School and the University of Nevada, Reno. Her second novel, "Unintended Sacrifices" (createspace.com), will be hot off the press in a few weeks.
Her first novel, "Shadows of Secrets" (authorhouse.com), established an exciting local readership. The author anticipates the second book to be an equally exciting page-turner for readers of suspense novels.
Fisk spent 35 years in public education, both as a teacher and as an administrator, during which time she was honored as the Nevada State Teacher of the Year, followed by the Christa McAuliffe Award and the Milken Family Foundation Educator Award.
A gifted storyteller, Fisk is a poet, playwright and short story writer as well as a novelist. Both publications are available in electronic book format through amazon.com or they can be purchased from the publishers or commercial booksellers upon request.
