Lovelock children celebrate Fourth of July

LOVELOCK - The following children participated in the 2013 annual 4th of July Kiddie Parade sponsored by the Pershing County Cattlewomen. The streets were filled with children representing their "American Dream."

The parade was led by the following members of Scout Troop 99: Jarod Horn, Andy Astle, Jordan Gentry, Mike Knight, Jack Knight, JC Astle and Dominic Astle.

The following children participated: 2013's Northern Nevada's Most Beautiful Tiny Tot-Izzibelle Parker; The Butcher-Blake Burrows; The Baker-Raegan Burrows; The Candlestick Maker-Presley Burrows; Movie Star-Josie Crim; Basketball Player-Keyton Grangruth; American Rock Star!-Aaliyah Allen; American Girl-Kelsey Collins.

All American Bikers-Hailey and Alyce Horn; All American Sweetheart No. 1-Ashtyn Settelmeyer; USA Scooter Babe-Rylee Renfroe; American Biker-Taylor Montes; All American Sweetheart No. 2-Ali Montes; Little Miss American-Khloe Montes.

Hostman Heroes-Jonny Wright, Jax Wright, Charley Wright, Emma Murdock, Mason Murdock, Hazel Murdock, and Kloe Harvey; Summer Fun-Faith Jones, Chantelle Jones, Ayva Jones, Kaelyn Castro Montes, Hannah Montes, Hayley Montes, Anthony Montes, Kia Williamson, and Jax Williamson.

All American Princess-Charley Wagner, Captain American-Elliott Wagner, All American Princess-Sparrow Wagner, and All American Biker-Aaron Zelaya; Pop Star-Daralyn Moura; The All American Kids!-Averie-Ana and Ian Paredes, Kaylee and Tate McIntee; Our American Dream...A Cure-Jocelyn, Louie, and Christopher Gutierrez; Cinderella-Cordellia Campbell; Tinkerbell-Kassandra Campbell; Roller Blade Princess-Miriam Knight.

Team Chuck Norris "Merica!"-Parker, Julia, and Parley Banks; All American Girl-Isabela Rosas; All American Ball Players-Kylee and Cassidie Fuller; All American Kids-Adam Small, Braydon Ellison, Houston and Marcus Allen, Katelyn and Faith Lucas; All American Popsicle Prince- Bryce Reitz; All American Boys-Dominic, Dennis, and Daniel Zazhitzkiy.

Each of the children received a 50 cent piece and a Popsicle from the Pershing County Cattlewomen. The American Legion Post 6 gave out hot dogs, chips, water, and cookies to the children that participated in the parade. Thank you to the American Legion!
